J. Aaron Farr 馮桀仁
Bio
Aaron is an entrepreneur, open source hacker, and sojourner in China. In 2006 he founded JadeTower with William Taysom as a boutique software consultancy. They are the developers of Kanchoo and Indie-Arcade. He is best known for his contributions to the Apache Software Foundation, a non-profit providing open source software to the public. He has served on the Board of Directors, as treasurer, VP of Apache Avalon and VP of Apache Excalibur. His previous professional background includes enterprise software development for Sony Electronics.
Aaron currently resides in Asia. You can usually find him in Hong Kong organizing BarCamp, Ruby on Rails events, or working with the Hong Kong Startup Association.
