You don’t appreciate something until it’s gone. The power cable on Jenny’s Powerbook died recently and a replacement is still in transit. Poor Maeli has had to go back to watching movies on the PSP.
In the midst of our crisis, the DVD drive on my Macbook Pro malfunctioned. For a while there, it looked as if The Incredibles where going to take up permanent residence on my desktop. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Twenty-four tiny screws later, I had the keyboard off and was dissecting the super-drive. I’m not sure what I did, but it’s working now again. Peace has been restored.
Don’t try this at home folks.
