CouchDB, Facebook's Thrift, and PDFBox at Apache

While the vote tally is still to be done, it looks like we’re going to have three new projects entering the Apache Incubator:

• CouchDB
• Thrift
• PDFBox

I’m particularly interested in the Thrift project from Facebook and CouchDB. I first found CouchDB about a year ago and considered it for use in some JadeTower projects at the time. The GPL licensing made that not possible, so I’m excited to see it entering Apache under a more permissive license.

Too many cool projects, too little time.
