Auto-Recover in OpenOffice 3.0.0 broken
If you haven’t upgraded from OpenOffice 3.0.0 to 3.0.1 yet, you should. My wife just lost over an hour’s worth of work due to a known bug in the auto-recovery feature. The bug? Auto-recovery simply doesn’t work in 3.0.0. What upsets me is that the bug tracker shows this was known in the beta period. Why would OpenOffice release it’s 3.0 version with this bug still open? That’s irresponsible.
