Last Call for OS Summit Asia Submissions

J Aaron Farr on Fri, 13 Jul 2007

Today is the last day for talk and tutorial submissions for OS Summit Asia.—the Apache and Eclipse joint conference in Hong Kong this November. Procrastinators should promptly submit their proposals!

I’ve had a few reports of people unable to log in to the submission website or have other problems with the CFP form. If you’ve experienced this problem, try clearing your apachecon.com cookies. If this doesn’t work for you, then feel free to contact the conference planners. If you are concerned your proposal may not have been properly submitted, you can check by logging into the website and viewing the form again. At the top of the form is a drop-down list of all the talks you’ve submitted in the past. If your OS Summit Asia talk does not appear in that list, let us know.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far. It’s going to be a great conference.

OS Summit Asia: Call for Papers

J Aaron Farr on Mon, 18 Jun 2007

The call for papers for OS Summit Asia is now open!

Apache and Eclipse are doing something a little different this year. Rather than have independent ApacheCon Asia and EclipseCon Asia conferences, we’re holding a joint conference in Hong Kong—OS Summit Asia. The conference runs November 26th through 30th and will be held at the Cyberport. This is both our first conference in Hong Kong and our first conference together, so it’s bound to be interesting.

The call for papers is now open with a deadline of July 13th, so mark your calendars and submit those talks and tutorials! Hope to see you there!
